Odette has zeroed in on what customers really care about, and what it takes to convince a customer to upgrade their cooking from dirty to clean.
Odette has advised that most urban women are extremely frustrated with the fact that charcoal creates a lot of dirt on their hands, clothes and pots. After a long day at work, her customers are tired and don’t want to spend the time necessary with charcoal, just to cook the evening meal.
Whilst price and health concerns are key factors, in Odette’s view the main reason her customers buy ethanol cook stoves is because of the cleanliness and convenience involved.
